Connection Coach & Speaker

Building community creates a sense of belonging. It’s trust and connection. Do you belong with the people at work? Do you belong with your family? How about your friends?

Do you trust the people you work with enough to ask for help? Do you trust your husband enough to gently tell you when you’re out of line? Do you trust your partner enough to be respectful? Do you trust yourself to tell your children ‘no’ before you lose your patience? Does your family trust you not to yell at or belittle them?

No matter how frustrated or alone you feel, even if your partner isn’t willing to change, it’s possible to have relationships that leave you feeling fulfilled and uplifted.

If you’re ready to transform all of your relationships then book your Connection Coaching Consult today.

My Story

I didn’t always know how to make friends or build community. In fact, I was often alone and people didn’t like being around me. I was the kid that was just a little too obnoxious and the teen that never talked on the phone. I went to university and didn’t understand boundaries.

Then one day, shortly after our second daughter was born I found myself crying uncontrollably and so afraid I’d hit our oldest child. I was alone and I had no one to call for help or support. It was the biggest wake up call of my life. (Don’t worry, I didn’t hit anyone, I called a helpline instead).

That moment changed my life.

I thought I was alone. There wasn’t a single person I could think of to call for help. I knew I needed to change!

I read every self-help and personal development book I could find. I re-read my sociology texts, and re-took a non-violent communications class. I read my old nursing text books about community building and management. I practiced using words of affirmation, acknowledgment, and connection.

I became the kind of mother I’m proud to be.

I saw others struggle with the same disconnect I had felt. So I became a mother’s mentor. I participated in communities and built communities. I created a rich life filled with friends both online and in person.

I’ve learned a lot about people and community and I want to share what I’ve learned with you so you don’t have to struggle the way I did.

My Mission

My mission is simple. I want to help you create a life filled with positive, respectful relationships. I want to make the world a little better by helping people connect with each other, even when they disagree.
